About Me
y work background always finds me surrounded by people speaking a different languages and I seem to always be the one who has to stand in the middle to help them communicate together.
I used to work in a restaurant owned by a German which had a filipino manager. My roles as an assistant manager needed me to communicate between them and Thai employees. After that I have changed my career to work with a Dutch company that requires a lot of online research in the Art business working with artists and workshops in Thailand.
n 2009, I then immigrated to the UK. I decided to enrol in Community Interpreting Level 3 as I would like to work within the community and this is my first step.
Working in the UK is more complicated than when I was working in Thailand. Different terms and glossary involved in some areas that I’ve found this could be challenging. Also, It is important to be aware of cultural differences so we can avoid conflicts that are related to everyone.
